CAMIGUIN ISLAND THE FIRST TIME
The first time i was there was in 1993 during the Holy week weekend. I was with my boyfriend (my long time college bf)
To me it was an unplanned trip destination. I knew we were going somewhere but he did not disclose the destination not until we were already on the bus. I really gave him a face when i heard him telling the ticket guy our destination. I was mad inside. I was mad at him but can’t lash out because we were already in the public. So inside i was mad. I did not speak again until we reached the destination.

We took some nice pictures the next day. They are in my album and in “our abum”, too but that “our album” is with him. The photo am using here is one i took in summer 2008 but the view is the same view me and bf had as a background in 1993. My first memory of White Island, Camiguin is with my boyfriend. Another thing i can’t forget are the three ladies staying in the same inn with us and they are vying for his attention.
On our trip towards Benoni, I was fuming mad because he sat between the two ladies and i was sitting across him. And i can see the ladies intentionally making me jealous by sitting close to him and one other guy trying to rest her head on his shoulder.
After the trip, i told him, that next time or on our next trip, he should include me in the planning so that it would be more fun. I could also put in some suggestions to make the trip more memorable.

A huge statue beneath a very blue sky.

I have lots a line of coconute trees in my own farm in farm farm town. Been playing FT for a month now and am quiet hooked to it. It made me always wish that one day i will really have my own real farm.
The photos above is of a farm area not far from the pool we spent a night at in Initao, Misamis Oriental.
More skies from around the world here.

This is a sky photo i took last Friday afternoon right after we reached Midway Beach Resort for our Spiritual Retreat. The sun was still up but soon to go down. The beach is still warm from the heat of the sun. The water was also warm that 5 minutes after we arrived, my friend and i went swimming. Of the 75 that went there that afternoon, only 3 of us had the chance to swim because it was almost sunset when they arrived.
Do you wanna see my comparable shots taken last year and this year from this place? I posted it here and i would appreciate any comments.

When someone invited me last week for an overnight swimming in Naawan, i thought we were off to Naawan beach. But when we went there i discovered we were going away from the beach. We were going up to the mounain area then we reached a spring pool.
The entrance fee cost P20.00 for adults and P15.00 for kids. Their big cottages costs P200.00
The place is a great place for kids at same time adults. There were two pools — one for the kids and one for adults. The adult’s pool is 5 – 6 ft deep. I only enjoyed the 5 ft deep although i managed to get the 6 ft area by just clinging to the sides.

The shower/changing rooms were neat. The parking lot is wide and shady. I asked the guys working there if they were open for overnights – they told me it was the first time. Look at the cottage where we slept:

The place is accessible by bus or jeepney either from Cagayan de Oro City or Iligan City. Get off at Naawan Poblacion. Then take the motorcycycle to the pool area.
