Blue & Grayish Skies

P1240041

I went with my boss and his wife and some company to Cagayan de Oro last Sunday.  3 of them are delegates to the meeting while the two of us (me and the boss wife) have the time to ourselves to go around.  The other one is the driver.  Some of us didn’t have breakfast so 4 of us went out to find a diner.  We looked for an “eat all you can” buffet and yeah we found one.  We had breakfast at Sunburst (will make another post about this place) and we were all full!  Even though i was full but i was looking forward to go out of the restaurant so that i could sky watch.  So this is one of the shots!

Here’s one taken last Saturday -

Above the Bright Blue Sky

~Albert Midlane

There’s a Friend for little children
Above the bright blue sky,
A Friend who never changes
Whose love will never die;
Our earthly friends may fail us,
And change with changing years,
This Friend is always worthy
Of that dear name he bears.

There’s a home for little children
Above the bright blue sky,
Where Jesus reigns in glory,
A home of peace and joy;
No home on earth is like it,
Nor can with it compare;
And everyone is happy,
Nor could be happier there.

It was one hot Sunday when we left Iligan at 10 AM. I took many sky photos in a 80 kpm moving vehicle. We were off to Cagayan de Oro to send off our week of prayer last week.

When we arrived Cagayan, we had our lunch (last meal together) before proceeding to the airport. Pastor Lowell dropped by for some minutes at the SM mall for dollar exchange then off we went to the airport. On the way, here are some shots:

I can’t believe another weekend is almost over. I hope everyone had a good week.

A friend’s final home on earth – Cagayan de Oro Gardens.

It was a nice day yesterday — blue sky, whispy clouds and cool breeze, comforting us that our parted friend and loved one will be in a very comfortable place.

Mapawa Nature Park’s

Camera Critters

This horse is one of the horses for rides at the Mapawa Nature Park. The nature park is a great weekend getaway for anyone. You can go canyoneering, zip lining, swimming, camping, horseback riding and many more i am sure.

The faculty and staff of the nursing department in our school took a one day break from work and we went zip lining and river rafting.

We really had fun that day. One of the unforgetable day in the life of my daughter especially me who has a phobia for heights.

If a chance will come, id like to bring my whole family there.  Check out the next picture on how to contact the place for more inquries:
