It is a long weekend yet am stuck to where I am now. It’s a perfect time to travel but the planned destination is not feasible. So I end up here. Whole day today, I was just home. I did not sleep the whole night last night so I ended up sleeping 7-3 today. The nice thing is that, I have done my daughter’s laundry and also my office clothes. Tomorrow, I still don’t have specific destination or activity, but I will surely go out.
Just want to share some self shots I made yesterday ^^

We went to Gaisano Mall to find a place to have dinner. First choice was Inasal but it was full so Chowking was the next place. There were 5 of us and this is our remembrance photo. – Can you see me?
When we arrived home, we had bread and Durian Icecream. The ice cream was so creamy and so yummy that made me forgot to take a photo of it. =)
Here are my friends enjoying their ice cream:

Ma’am Ann enjoying her bread in spite her being full:

I had fried rice and beef siomai! =)
I looked forward to weekend because i know I am going to see my daughter in the school.

Then from their school i went directly to GM to pick some vegetables.
I had in mind to cook mixed-veges with tokwa.
I was not already feeling well when i went to see my girl. Friday night, i really feeling sick. Next day, i want to miss church service, but decided to fight back the sickness. I went out holding on to my nose because it loves runnin. (runny nose)
Here’s a photo of me:

Please allow me to share another glimpse of our new year’s day again.
My camera hibernated this weekend eh.
It was confirmed the night before (3 am actually) that we were leaving early morning because we will attend church before Dimple and I will proceed to the van terminal for Jagna to catch our ferry at 4 pm.
I have stayed in the resort for 10 days but I was not done taking pictures really. It seems everyday I find something to photograph at. So here are a few:

The Hobbit House
If a guest wants to stay in this house, he or she must make an early reservation.
The couple that stayed in this house while we were there, made their reservation earl last year.
If you sleep inside you have the fan. If you sleep up there, you have the fresh air.

An edible flower.

Am glad to find this before we grab our bags to leave.
Spending two weeks in beautiful island resort is very relaxing experience. I hope to visit the place again someday.
More photos of the resort is at my

Christmas Day 2010 was spent away from home. Dimple and I spent it in one of the resort islands in Bohol. Christmas night was spent away from the loud blasts of Christmas firecrackers that fills the city air.
What i love about it was the simple but special dinner of fish steak and jackfruit salad and the monggo bean soup. Though for those who eats pork they can chose between the fish steak or the meat balls.
Here’s a few of my Christmas day photos.

The food! Together with this was the soup and mango shake to treat the sweet tooth.

The dancing Santa girls.
entertaining us with a dance.
The Achy Breaky Heart dance for everyone
The singing and dancing lasted for hours. I thought i would not moved out of my seat but i did and it feels like a had more than an hour of gym time. lol! Hit the bed at almost 1 am. But before ending this post, here’s my last photo,
the fire of the Christmas spirit

I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas weekend.

I woke up early but looking at the time i was already late for the agreed time of 6:30. Mel and company will pick me up at the Mc Donalds of SM North Edsa. I took the taxi camoran to north esda thinking am already very late. Good thing we arrived almost at the same time.
I was worried of the traffic but it was not so much. I took a shot of this just so i would be familiar of where I am passing.

I thank the taxi driver for bringing me to the right spot since we already passed by mc donalds and i was expecting that mc donalds is inside the mall. i only told the driver am off to sm north, not mc donalds. when we arrived at the mall, he said, “oh saan ka na bababa dito?” i replied, “sa mc donalds po!” And he said, “lampas na tayo!” Oh my i was worried! I don’t like the idea of getting off and then walk back because I might get lost.
Good thing he brought me back. He find ways to get me back to that corner.
I paid him 120.00 and that comes with a receipt. Cool!

That’s Trinoma Mall over there. And Mel told me pala to wait at the SM McDo across Trinoma.
When Mel and company arrived, i got in and after a few minutes of pleasantries i doze off. I had a late night (1:30 am) and woke up 6:30 so for sure i was sleepy. I love sleeping in a moving vehicle so the car really was a great place to sleep for me that time.
I think i slept 80% part of the trip. I started to get really awake when we are just a few kilometers off the Subic Free Port Zone.

i wonder what’s this hill called

yahoo we’re at our destination now!

Below Mitches home is this plant with blooming chillies.
Her daughter said she loves to eat that because she is a daughter of an Bombay (referring to her dad).

Great thirst quencher.
It was a humid day.
This is the day, too that i had this huge P I Z Z A with friends.

My Manila trip was indeed a very memorable weekend.

I call it the wedding of the year because it is the first wedding i’ve attended as well as participated this year. I am not sure if there would be more weddings that will happen here around and am invited to witness so, am calling Rona and Sir Junge’s wedding the wedding of the year.

Wedding Date: August 22, 2010
Last August 16, the dormitories (boys and girls) were opened to the public for more than 6 hours. It is during times like this that the creativity of the students will be seen especially when time is limited. I will be sharing here the photos i took of the rooms in the girls dormitory. Will share the pics of the boy’s rooms in later week.
So let me start — here’s of ROOM 1. Their theme is balloon festival.

so you can find balloons anywhere in there room.

some of the occupants making a pose. The one in brown making bubbles. They gave away bubble bottles for a prize.
ROOM 2 –

I think they are theme less. The flowers they cut that evening was not used the next day.
They just play with colors on their ceiling.

The eye-catcher in Room 2. Pick one!
I didn’t.
Room 3 — FLOWER FESTIVAL

I just love their wall with these colorful flowers

some of the occupants.
ROOM 5 – Music Festival

The girls singing their welcome song as soon as a visitor enters their room.

I love this!
The center of their theme – MUSIC!
EXTENTION ROOM — another colorful room!

There were more pics i took that day in every girls room but will share them from time to time in other posts.
Thanks to Lovely for letting me borrow her Nikon digital camera.
