The other day i messaged my highschool batch that one of our classmates will be coming home first week of April and he will be in town for a couple days.  I asked them if they are willing for a meet-up!  We haven’t seen this guy since we graduated from high school in March 1990 so this is a home coming that we all look forward to although not all can come.

This reminds me of the get together we had last December when some classmates came home from Australia and New Zealand.  We had so much fun.  The ones from Land Down Under gave us key chains marked Australia and we are all happy to have it.  This is what came to mind when i saw these promo keychains. Promo means lesser price and you can buy lots of them. For sure this will save one a lot of money. This is what i suggested to those who are going to Thailand on the 29th that if they are planning to buy some pasalubong stuff, they should check out on promo stuffs.

Many are going on a trip at the end of this month and i guess am just the only one who will be left here in the office.

I want to think that this is the biggest centavo i saw along a sidewalk. This is how a Philippine (old) centavo looks like. This is the head side.

This is the back part. How i wish i had photo beside the coin but i was alone on an errand so i just had the liberty to take photos of it. I never minded some of the stares coming my way.

Good news for the weekend! My cousin was able to get a nordictrack coupon while she was doing her purchase of a treadmill. So the coupon made a huge discount on her purchase. She is working out her weight for the upcoming summer season.

- can you read the sign?  that should say: FOR SALE STRAWBERRY FRESH JAM.  We stopped to buy.  There was only one pack left. -

- i forgot if we stopped to take pictures at this area but am glad to make this shot!  I guess this is a guesthouse open to the public. I wonder how much per day is their room.   They always have a spring weather in this area.  Daily weather of 12 or less every day and for sure in the evening it would be really really low.   That explains the green cloth or material in the upper p I think I would love to stay there.

This is Mc Donalds outlet Cogon Branch, Cagayan de Oro City. Meeting place for those who will join the city tour. As i observed the place was deserted and no one’s around. I arrived at 7:30 and i was wondering where were the people.

I wondered my eyes further and then i saw them -

Across the Mc Do is the Gaston park and instead of crowding Mc Do, they waited at the park. The last stop of the tour was Lim Kit Kai Center and while roaming around i saw a product demonstration POS systems. I was surprised because i know that cashiering inside the mall is already systematized but i guess they were demonstrating for passersby. Who know one will ask for their address to purchase the product.

The group was divided in two.  One for the rafting and the other group was on for city tour.  I was one of those who went off with the city tour group.  We waited for another 30 minutes more after the rafting group left at 8 am.

That is from Ten on Tuesday but since i don’t have that long list so i would miss TOT this week.

I was chatting with a family friend the other night and she mentioned that her family is in a big problem now because their eldest brother is into drug problems.  They are trying to look into a drug rehab that is near their location so that if ever there the bro will have problems, immediate family can go and see him right away.

As we were talking, i tried to imagine that quiet boy long time ago.  We call him Art and i thought he was a shy boy.  She went to another here in this city and when I went to the Academy i just never heard details about him, not until the other night. I bet if drugs or some of his medications are not easy to get then i am sure he will not be hooked on those drugs.  I told Amy to check government programs like ERIC to educate her and her family on said programs and psychological principles in Drug Abuse Education.  Am sure it will made them more aware in a way that they can help their biggy brother back to a normal life.
