Sunday Stealing: The Oh My! Meme, Part One

1. The phone rings; who don’t you want it to be?  The ex.

2. When shopping at the grocery store, do you return your cart?  No.

3. In a social setting, are you more of a talker or a listener?  Neutral.  But if really unfamiliar people, id rather be a listener.

4. What was the last compliment that someone gave you?  Am smart.

6. If abandoned alone in the wilderness, who would you want with you?  Someone who can can still smile and make fun of the situation.  One who thinks that the wilderness is the paradise on earth.

7. Do you like to ride horses?  I don’t think so although i haven’t tried one.

8. Did you ever go to camp as a kid?  Yeah, twice.  And it was fun.

1. You’re building your dream house. What’s the one thing that this house absolutely, positively MUST HAVE? (other than the obvious basics of course) A very big pool where my family can enjoy every weekend.

2. What is your dream car?  A Ford Ranger

3. What is your favorite website that isn’t a blog?  For now is FACEBOOK.

4. iPhone 4 or Droid, which do you want?  Maybe an iPhone

5. When you’re feeling down or lonely or just generally out of sorts, what do you do to cheer yourself up?  Do the things i like to do – take photos especially the sky, or go out malling, or read a good book,  or watch a movie (funny or romantic),  or email a friend.

6. Tell me about something or someone that you love that most people seem to hate.  Rice!  I love rice and all people who are on a diet or crash diet hate rice.

7. What do you want to be when you grow up?  A house of my own.

Tell me about your most recent trip of more than 100 miles?   Recently there was none.  But the last time was November of 2009.  We went to Dapitan, Zamboanga del Norte to have fun at Gloria de Dapitan’s Fantasy Land.   It was a trip with friends with their families.  My daughter enjoyed the trip so much.

19. What are you dreading at the moment?  The heat outside.

Sunday Stealing: The Pretentious Blogging Meme 2

12. How many drafts of potential blog posts do you have right now?

I don’t often do drafts.

13. In what medium do you draft your posts?

If i do, i use notepad.

14. How often do you completely scratch or delete drafts or blog post ideas?

Very seldom

I don’t have any idea.

I think in style and voice especially parent bloggers

Yeah when i was paid my first $10.00.  I thought paid blogging is a scam.

I plan to continue writing down my thoughts and hopefully i would have lots of time to visit other bloggers especially the ones who have visited.  I owe them my visit.

Yeah i do make money but not enough to let me stop from working my main job.

Today we ripped this meme off a blogger named Nik Dirga at the blog Spatula Forum. Nik is an American journalist who now lives in New Zealand with his kiwi wife and son. Sunday Stealing: The Final Week of 2009 Meme

1. What did you do in 2009 that you’d never done before?  i failed to post holiday cards to my friends. (really a sad thing)

2. Did you keep your new years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I don’t make one.

3. How will you be spending New Year’s Eve? Probably just in the comforts of my home. i hate firecrackers on the streets.  But will for sure come out of the house at midnight to watch fireworks.

4. Did anyone close to you die?  This year? Hmmm i think none.

5. What countries did you visit?  None this year.

6. What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009?  Enough money to make me do things i want to do.

7. What date from 2009 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?  July 23, 2009.  It’s all about my daughter.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?  They are personal achievements and they are many to mention.

9. What was your biggest failure?  Still haven’t seen a lawyer regarding this marriage thing.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?  Nope not yet.

11. What was the best thing you bought?   I think the pill box for my mom.  She really loved it.

12. Where did most of your money go?  House rent and school fees for daughter.

1. What is your favorite holiday show/animated show? Home Alone

2. What holiday character do you think you’re most like?  One of the chipmunks.

4. Favorite Christmas/holiday song? I have many favorite holiday songs but i’d like to mention JOY TO THE WORLD, HARK THE HERALD, WINTER WONDER LAND, I’LL BE HOME FOR CHRISTMAS

6. If you have an all holiday music radio station when do you start listening to it?  The moment i wake up in the morning.

12. Are you counting the days to Christmas with excited anticipation or dread?  Just normal though i look forward to Christmas day because we are going to the beach.

14. Do you make a Christmas list for your spouse or significant other or do you rely on them to pick your gift(s) without a clue from you?  I make list for holiday cards but not for gifts.

15. When do you put up your tree?  I did not put up the tree this year because we have a wee baby at home who is just starting to crawl and hold on to anything and eat them.  Maybe if we have no baby, have put them up November yet.

16. Real or fake?  In this part of the woods, we use fake ones.

17. When do you take your tree down?  Usually around middle of January.

18. Do you shop the day after Christmas sales? What do you shop for?  I don’t shop for Christmas sales ever but i do grocery for the new year’s eve.

19. Is your work/office having a holiday party this year? Will you attend?  Yeah we had one last December 13 and i attended.

20. Do you have your New Year’s Eve Plans set yet?  No not yet but probably i will just be home and watch movies.  I heard Alvin and the Chipmunks’ sequel is already out! yahooo!

Sunday Stealing: The Can’t Sleep Meme

Would it be hard to kiss the last person you kissed?  Nope because she’s my daughter. hehehe

When is it hard to kiss someone?  When you don’t like the person.  It’s like the Judas kiss.

You’re trapped in a room with your most recent ex for three days, what do you do?  Nothing except talking.  Catching up with what’s life since the time we separate ways.

Does it matter to you if your significant other smokes?  It matters.  He can’t smoke in front of me or else i will get dizzy.

Have you ever regretted letting someone go?  Hmmmm…i guess so. hahaha

Where would you go if you were butt naked and locked out of your house?  Whuuaatt??? I pray this won’t happen or else maybe i will just cover my face. hahahaa

Do you want to please everyone?  Nope.  if you don’t like me. Fine. If you do then thanks.

Have you ever been called heartless?  When i was in college.

Someone calls you at 3:00 AM, who do you expect it to be?  Someone from Kuwait. It’s still 10 pm over there.

Does it matter if your significant other drinks?  Occasional drink fine.  But if its addiction then of course i won’t like it.

Could you go the rest of your life without doing drugs?  Of course.  Am 37 now and i’ve never tasted except hospital meds.

Which is better, amazing eyes or an amazing smile?  eyes if it i can’t pick both.

Do you want to get married and have children one day?  Nope because i’ve already been married once and i now have 2 children.

Do you ever want to go to sleep and not wake up?  Yeah when am very tired and sleeping in one of the most soft and comfortable beds in one of the hotels in miami.

Sunday Stealing: The Party Mummy Meme

2. Where was your first kiss? I guess when i was a baby. My parents ‘ kiss. But if it’s a boyfriend – had the first one in college. I was 18.

3. Have you ever hit someone of the opposite sex? If yes, why? No not yet.

4. Have you ever sung in front of a large number of people? When? Yeah. In a choir.

5. What’s the first thing you notice about your preferred sex? Eyes and lips.

6. What really turns you off? Dirty fingernails and body odor.
