Guess who?
She is my daughter. Don’t you think she’s beautiful? Oh in spite of her face that is full of irritating pimples (acne like) she will always be beautiful to me. 
A photo taken last Christmas holiday. This was a few days after Christmas.
Last week, while we were on vacation, my daughter’s Omi asked her what course she is going to pursue in College. She still could not give an answer because she is still undecided. For sure she does not like medical or allied courses. She does not want to do anything with blood or anything related to clinical duties.
In my opinion, it is fine if she won’t take nursing. But i was hoping she would take up Medical Technologist so that she will just study here in the College where I am working. But sensing here, it seems that is not the course she would like to have.
I suggested one time that she takes up management course or maybe an accounting course and then take the CPA later. As there are many management jobs available today. But still, she is undecided. She is interested of marine biology or marine engineering. She also mentioned of photography. Oh well, she is still young so we are not pressuring her to decide.
If given the chance to convince her, i will let her take Med Tech if not BSE or AB English, and then she’ll pursue a Masters in English and a Masters in Linguistics. Her Omi suggested she takes HRM. Oh well, she is still young, she can take up as many courses as she wants to take. But she should be sure about one thing — she can study as much as she can as long as she won’t get married yet.
My daughter graduated from elementary last month and the thought of enrolling her in high school gave me so much stress. The school we both liked studying at is very expensive. Way way beyond what i can afford. There is another school which she also like but I am a bit skeptic about it because there might be Sabbath problems in the future. So there is another whose tuition costs just enough. I’ll just try to find a sponsor for her books which will work almost four thousand pesos. She was the one who is not so excited about it. But when she saw her friends and classmates who are doing good in their classes, she just said “ok” to me yesterday. She passed the entrance examination and hopefully she can enroll next month.
Our deal was if she enrolls at this certain school then at least once a year we can take a vacation together to somewhere. If the Branson vacation packages are affordable then maybe we can take one from them. There are also very affordable vacation packages locally but we will see when the time comes. Our first plan is this coming December.
My daughter graduated from the elementary school last Sunday. Although it is still a simple milestone yet am so happy she has finished the course with flying colors. Although she is not a very camera friendly child – yet, i was able to some memorable photos of her. Allow me to share some of them here.

I was so happy for her. But deep in me am also thinking how i wish her dad witnessed this graduation (first big milestone in the life of her daughter)

I love travelling around. And the more i will love it if my daughter is along with me. I don’t feel guilty on the go if my daughter is with me, but if she is with me, it’s the folks at home who worries too much if something will happen on the road, then both are gone. oh my! When i travel with Dimple, I feel so comfortable and i think of sooo many good things. Accidents is far away from my mind. Last Saturday though, she was not with me becuase the space in the vehicle were suppose to be just enough for the participants. If i just have known that it would be that spacious, well, there could have been more that will go along.Here’s one photo of me and Dimple in Davao the other week.
I heard my daughter asking her grandma: “who taught us to lie down when sleeping? why isn’t the right position is running or standing?” I did not hear my mom answering her but it made me realize hmmmm kids questions really are never ending. hehehe
I think they are so cute when they ask so many innocent questions that even adults are dumbfounded and can’t find the answers right away.
Oh i wish am back to being child again. hehehe
