Jeorgene and Me on my 24th birthday

One of the photos of my 24th birthday. This was taken in July 24, 1996. Me and my ex-bf. Good guy and i know he loves me so much because he really took effort in trying to make this birthday memorable for me. This birthday became extra special because of his effort – when we were already separated. I guess people do realized how much they value a person when he or she is already gone. hehehehe

Anyway, this birthday was celebrated with one of our buddy friends, Bebbot & Ampoy. This was a double celebration – my birthday and ther wedding anniversary.

Bebbot and Ampee so sweet!

They should be! I was so civil towards JM that day. I was so overwhelmed of his effort. Maybe if we did not broke up, i will never experience this sweet birthday treat from him.

My 24th birthday was very memorable. I spent the weekend in Cebu at my relative’s place and my boyfriend (Ulee) celebrated the whole day Saturday with us. Sunday early morning, he sent me off to the bus station for my 8 hrs trip back to Bacolod City. I was carrying a big teddy as a gift from him. When i arrived in Bacolod City, this was the surprise for me. A Birthday celebration with my barkadas.

As am making this post, am wondering what if we can move back the time…i wonder if i would dwell there or i’d love my time now.

FAST FORWARD…2011

Me – with two kids. Married turned single. single parent.

Jeorgene – 4 kids. Married to a nurse

Bebbot & Ampee – separated. Divorced.  They have 2 kids. Ampee in Oman. Bebbot just in Bacolod. (oh i miss her)

Ulee – in Canada. Married. with 1 kid.

GRADUATION DAY!

My College graduation day was the last day of October 1994. I tried to look my best that day and this is just my best. I did not buy any new dress because it won’t still be appreciated because we will be wearing a toga.

Closing exercises begins Friday evening for the Consecration evening then the Baccalaureate Saturday morning and followed by Tribute to Parents Saturday afternoon. Graduates and parents and friends witness this special program of ours. The big day then is SUNDAY.

The photo above is a remembrance of “i already look my best” shot.” After this shot, i took my toga and went to the Alumni Church.

I have a separate album for my College graduation but i can only share a few here. I took a photo (macro settings) of my photos so please the picture is not really at its best.

Here are some more photos:

Me with Ma’am Melgar.  My ever kind shorthand teacher.
She is our shorthand teacher from basics to intermediate.

That is her grand daughter with her, Lorena.

With some business office ladies.

On my left is Melody Jumantoc and Ate Indai Caballero
They are my inspiration these times as my bf and I broke up during my last semester in College
On my right is Arlene Toledanes.  We have same names.
We worked together in the DSF office (me for my work education grade and hers as an SA)

With Vanni (Giovanni)

Thinking back, we were close during my last semester because we were classmates in one of the Bible or Health subjects.  He and Dexter Nermal were my buddies.  One thing i can remember about this time, i don’t eat so much because i was heartbroken so, Vanni used to borrow my meal ticket.  I really did not mind.

All the above photos were taken before the program started and after the program started.  I have many photos that day.  I was officially single but i thought that my heart still belongs to someone.  Feeling high though in spite we were not on because we have talked Thursday night before my parent’s arrival.

I have photos taken with my roommates, with my teachers, with my first love (he was there as his brother also graduated), the above guy, my buddy that time but turned out the father of my first child and also JM – the guy whom i thought my heart still belongs too.  Taking photo with JM was so funny.

Graduation memories — all nice except one.

Being a WAHM…a wish

This is a wish am making this year.  The thought of many of my friends working at home also make me sigh a wish that hopefully one day, I will be brave enough to quit work and then be a full time worker from home.  The only thing that makes me scared is my tech skills which up to this time is still below average.  Being a WAFHM makes me unfocused in blogging hobbies.  As there are times when the fun of doing things is not fun anymore because I am already pressured to really visit people to create enough traffic.

There are many friends i know who are working comfortably inside the comforts of their home but they are bright ones and is earning 3-4 digits salary every month and that is in dollars.  I still can’t do that.  Except for the sheriff tasks and the direct offers to do some reviews like hgh so I can say this is an additional income of which it can help me make ends met as my main salary is not that big.

I still need to go into seminars and have a one on one tutorial then maybe after that i can decide.  For now, my status is still a WAFHM.

12 Days and Counting

We are away from my hometown for 12 days.  Six days has already passed and we are counting to the 12.  How i wish time would stop so that it would be forever holiday and there is no work but just live a life with no pressure.  But life is not like that.

It’s our 6th day in Bohol particularly in La Estrella Resort but i’ve spent only 1 full day at the resort and that was on Christmas Day (December 25, 2010).  All the other 5 days are spent away from the island.  Today was the 5th and Dimple was left behind as there were guests who traveled with us to Tagbilaran and on our way back, we also had 5 guests whom we met at the airport.  So we were full and just no space for Dimple. With the 5 days always leaving the resort, it feels like i started to feel that the trip is getting shorter and shorter but still i haven’t let go of the fear crossing the sea space between Mucpoc and La Estrella.  I have this fear of the sea because i can’t swim fgs! lol!

We arrived sometime before 7 pm and she was at the gazebo Facebooking.  I asked her how was her day and she said that she spent it  reading and she got online not very long before we arrived.

Anyway, i thought of posting a couple of pictures i took for a day.  I will post it in my photo blog so you can check out my photo blog from time to time.

I really need to do updates in all of my blogs.  I have this lappy with me and i can get online on the schedule times but most of the time am away from the resort and when we get back in the evening, Dimple is there. If there is no wifi then she has her anime movies.  So i almost don’t own my lappy.  She feels like she’s the owner. lol!

Traveling from Cagayan de Oro to Cebu City

Daughter and I left Iligan City almost 6 in the evening.  Sounds quite late but the boat was scheduled to depart at 10:45 pm.  Dimple and I boarded the Rural Transit because there was no gray bus at the Super 5 station. We arrived a little bit before 8 pm so we just took a jeep to Gaisano to eat dinner.  We had a quick dinner at Jollibee – Gaisano City.  Then from there, we took a motor trike direct to the pier and we paid 20 pesos each.   The loading up the boat has not yet started when we arrived at the waiting area.

They were strict in their luggage and quarantine inspection.  They also have K9 dogs to sniff on all luggage.  The dog was a girl and we dunno her name but we call her “good girl” because her boss called her good girl after behaving.

This is good girl in action. :)

Dimple’s Boarding Pass

I also had mine.   We were brought to the foot of the gangplank by bus.  The distance from the waiting area to the boat was just so near yet they want organize system, so we still took the bus/couch.

The moving bus. :)

The daughter and me.

After we settled our things, we roam around and check out the side deck.  CDO pier was already quiet because SF 12 was the last one to depart.

I Miss One Inactive Skywatcher :D

He used to skywatch from Singapore.  He used to get up early in the morning just to leave his post url  at http://skyley.blogspot.com

Now they are back in the Philippines and i cannot remember anymore when was his last entry for skywatch.  Now it’s 2:37 my laptop time and this week’s episode is not yet up.

I am not aiming for number one slot but at least i can leave my link now because if i wait for my office time – i will totally forgot about it.  Now just few minutes more and I hope it will be up.

That someone is btw my blogger/real-life friend – Rhoen Catolico.

Am so sleepy now.  :)

DSC02377-1

I got this Christmas decor from a friend who went to England to study. When he came home to visit in 2004, he came to visit me in my apartment and gave me this. So cute and I still have it until now. What i find funny was that thing got a stamped with a sticker that says: Made in China. He bought it in England and brought it home to China to give it to me. :)

I find made in china exported stuff more durable than their products for local use.

Product Review Tasks

I like doing reviews on any products and when i have the opportunity to do it, am just hoping that i will not be on travel. It is not always easy to access the internet while on the road. I did tried though by using a Globe Tattoo broadband but as the bus leaves each terminal, there are some place that the signal is weak so the internet connection so it was futile to do any job reviews while on the road.

Last night, i read some product reviews including some acne treatment reviews and the latter gave me some idea on how to treat acne. Although i don’t have active growths for many months now, thanks to FC, yet I do control the food i fed myself because too much meat and protein can induce the growth. I advice the same thing to my daughter.

If the review is STAT then i really have to find means to get connected so i can post a product review.
