Jeorgene and Me on my 24th birthday

One of the photos of my 24th birthday. This was taken in July 24, 1996. Me and my ex-bf. Good guy and i know he loves me so much because he really took effort in trying to make this birthday memorable for me. This birthday became extra special because of his effort – when we were already separated. I guess people do realized how much they value a person when he or she is already gone. hehehehe

Anyway, this birthday was celebrated with one of our buddy friends, Bebbot & Ampoy. This was a double celebration – my birthday and ther wedding anniversary.

They should be! I was so civil towards JM that day. I was so overwhelmed of his effort. Maybe if we did not broke up, i will never experience this sweet birthday treat from him.

My 24th birthday was very memorable. I spent the weekend in Cebu at my relative’s place and my boyfriend (Ulee) celebrated the whole day Saturday with us. Sunday early morning, he sent me off to the bus station for my 8 hrs trip back to Bacolod City. I was carrying a big teddy as a gift from him. When i arrived in Bacolod City, this was the surprise for me. A Birthday celebration with my barkadas.

As am making this post, am wondering what if we can move back the time…i wonder if i would dwell there or i’d love my time now.

Me – with two kids. Married turned single. single parent.

Jeorgene – 4 kids. Married to a nurse

Bebbot & Ampee – separated. Divorced.  They have 2 kids. Ampee in Oman. Bebbot just in Bacolod. (oh i miss her)

Ulee – in Canada. Married. with 1 kid.

This is a wish am making this year.  The thought of many of my friends working at home also make me sigh a wish that hopefully one day, I will be brave enough to quit work and then be a full time worker from home.  The only thing that makes me scared is my tech skills which up to this time is still below average.  Being a WAFHM makes me unfocused in blogging hobbies.  As there are times when the fun of doing things is not fun anymore because I am already pressured to really visit people to create enough traffic.

There are many friends i know who are working comfortably inside the comforts of their home but they are bright ones and is earning 3-4 digits salary every month and that is in dollars.  I still can’t do that.  Except for the sheriff tasks and the direct offers to do some reviews like hgh so I can say this is an additional income of which it can help me make ends met as my main salary is not that big.

I still need to go into seminars and have a one on one tutorial then maybe after that i can decide.  For now, my status is still a WAFHM.

I am making a frenzy post because strong winds and some rain are coming this way.  Not the main head of the typhone but it would be strong enough for a stray wind and rain.  I called up home to check if they have candles.  Mom said, the small ones are all used up and they only have one big piece.

In the dorm, I think i still have 2 pcs.  I am positive the light will be off again tonight.  But before that happens i want to check the best fat burners in the market because i want to compare it with the slimming coffee tagged to me by a dealer in Manila. I am asking reviews from friends on what they think of the product.  I am in the quest of losing the excess fats that i have (in words and in actions) lol!

Another thing am worrying now is that my girl is off to the camp and in this weather? Oh God, please keep them safe from the bad weather and from evil thoughts and acts of the devil.

FIRST TIME IN DIPOLOG/DAPITAN (Part I)

I was one of the faculty/staff chaperons of an Educational Tour

~~Almost to reach our destination

~~ That’s our first stop. For lunch. The place feels like attending a debu or a formal party. hehehe

~~ After lunch, this was the next destination. A student activity that was suppose to be done in an hour but we stayed there for more than 2 hrs because many students wanted to reach the top.

Do you wanna know how many steps i made? Oh well, only 3 of that 3003. lol!

It was during this trip that i met up close and personal the Miss Earth 2008 winner Karla Paula
and the ladies that won Miss Air and Miss Water.
I think Miss Karla is very beautiful.

Next to that peak, we proceeded to Rizal Shrine in Dapitan.

A sunset view i took from the top of the Lovers’ Rock inside the shrine. I can imagine Jose Rizal and Josephine Bracken enjoy the sunset from that spot.

I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as i enjoy recalling those moments.

This is one of the memories that brings a smile to my face at the same time sad because this guy here –

left this world unexpectedly (through a vehicular accident. he was hit by a speeding car heeding to the airport catching a flight) 3 months later.   He was one of the persons that made this trip more lively and unforgetable for the students especially.

We had a long weekend because last Monday was a holiday (Independence Day).  So Tuesday we went back to work.  Wednesday we are enjoying another holiday because it’s the Charter Day of Iligan City.  Thus i was hoping last week we could sandwich Tuesday as part of the holiday.  But nah it did not happen that way.

Let me enumerate some TEN THINGS i did that day:

1. Was at the office before 9 am.

2.  I wore red blouse paired with black skirt to work.

3.  Filled up an employee’s update form at the HR.

4.  I was invited to go along to CDO the next day but i declined because i was planning for a movie marathon Tuesday night.

5.  Had a chat with Sandy.  She shared me some photos of the house they are going to rent in Cebu.

6.  Tasted a durian pie.

7.  Missed gym because i said i was going the next day.

8.  Stayed up so late at night online on FB.

9.  Met a new friend.  She’s so friendly and I hope to meet her someday.

10.  Watched WHEN IN ROME!

I envy many of my girls friends who lose weight naturally.  Give them lots of problems – emotional, financial, spiritual then in 2 weeks, they lost 10 pounds.  I think they are so great – it’s like they are using quick weight loss pills. But not me.

When i have problems in whatever forms – I look ok but i crave for comfort foods and most of the carb rich foods. I know it’s wrong to satisfy my cravings but just can’t say no at times when the food is already placed in front of you.

I am not depress today but i did enjoy this:

Meaning, depress or not, i enjoy pasta and the difference is that – i seem never to get full when i am not feeling well emotionally. Yay!  I should be more mindful of what ill be eating and how much now because am not getting any younger anymore.  And I still need to lose alot of accumulated unwanted weight that am having now.

I feel that today is a long day.  But when i woke up I thought it’s going to be a short one as i have something exciting to do for the day.  But since it didn’t out as planned, i ended up bored until I become tired in the office.  I should have used the time in checking out the hgh supplement the doctors are recommending for those who want to help professional athletes to be more great in their performance. I was going through some sites and then suddenly i just decided to finish reading the print out tonight.

Anyway, for here’s what i look like after my long day:

see those dark and puffy eye bags? I do want to sleep but i just can’t.   Thanks to the a good book, i found something better to do than just lay in bed and stare at the ceiling. hahaha

Now am off to post my OWM. I got some photos to share.  I was in the mood to click the shutter.

My daughter graduated from the elementary school last Sunday.  Although it is still a simple milestone yet am so happy she has finished the course with flying colors.  Although she is not a very camera friendly child – yet, i was able to some memorable photos of her.  Allow me to share some of them here.
