Trending News: Lee Min Ho & Suzy Bae’s Break-up

Warning: All thoughts written here are my personal opinion.

It seems I do not know what to do when I saw the breaking news on Youtube. As an avid Lee Min Ho fan since Boys Over Flowers, this news got me happy and excited.

If there is one thing that LMH did and made me mum of the issue — it is his real life girlfriend.  As a fan, and I know I am not alone in this, I just don’t think SB is the one for him.  If I base it on news, it was really LMH who fell hard on SB.  Maybe SB had that kind of charm that LMH didn’t find it any of his female friends or anyone in linked to him.  So now, I do not have to worry about this, because their relationship is over! lols!

Part of my crazy heart and mind reaction was my happiness. I was all smiles and blushing. At a moment I feel sorry for being so happy over a relationship that is over.  I wanted to scream and do the giggling happiness dance.  I wish my friend Genevieve, a fan who is also crazy over LMH was in the office at that moment I read the news.  I could just imagine our screams.  Lols!

The Minshin fans clubs are now having a party for sure.  Really, I was so excited that I immediately status what I felt tagging someone who also will go gaga over the news. lols!

I clicked on the news on ABS-CBN I was amazed to see that 99% of the comment were relieved of the news. Kind of sad for their fans because their relationship lasted for 2 years. But me, i’ve been praying that LMH can realize that SB is not really for him.  I know he loves her dearly as he lavishly do things for her.  But one of life’s reality is some good things don’t last long if not forever.

You may be wondering why I became gaga with the news.  You might think it’s me head over head in love with LMH. No!  I am his fan and I love him as an actor and I am happy for all his achievements in his career and life.  I do not have an inclination to wish that I will be in a relationship (for real) with him. lols!  But if we are of the same age, then maybe I would fall in love with him in a romantic way. ha ha ha

Now the reason why I am happy with his breakup with Suzy, it is because I ship Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hae, his co-star in the drama The Heirs.

They were still so young in that drama but they have a great friendship that they had fun doing the shoot.  It was their first work together and they both had great memories.  Fans commented that they have candid sweet moments together even though PSH always make fun of LMH.  Their tandem in The Heirs had more fans compared to LMH’ & SB as couple. lols!

Here’s a png file of one of the scenes in The Heirs. This was shoot in LA, USA.  (I <3 California shit!)   The drama was aired some years ago but if I’ll go back to LA i’ll surely buy that same kind & print of shirt. lols!

As a happy fan, let me share some more lovely pics of this two together. They may be ad pictorials and maybe some are photoshopped, but for fandom, these are priceless images to inspire them to continually support the minshin couple and of course LMH!

Song Joong Ki & Song Hye Kyo Tied the Knot Today

(photo not mine)

Date: October 31, 2017
Venue: Shilla Hotel, Seoul, South Korea

Thoughts of loneliness for my departed love ones were overtaken by the thought that my favorite Korean Drama couple, Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo got wedded today.

This is my number one and only news as of today. lols!

I was already a big fan of Song Hye Kyo way back many years ago in her drama Autumn Love. She became more amazing and sweetly beautiful in the 2016 drama Descendants of the Sun.  She had a great acting chemistry with Song Joong Ki, that after the drama ended, many had DOTS hangover and wished them they become couple in real life.  Their “acting” was so real that one can easily sense, they are a couple in the drama in real life.  The BTS videos on you tube can make one feel so kilig of their chemistry.

DOTS is the first drama I watched with Soong Joong Ki and i right away liked him.  In an instant, I suddenly go gaga over him and his female lead. Bagay man gud kaayo sila!  Because of that, I did not miss watching his newest movie, Battleship Island.  The thing he worked on right after DOTS.

Both of them have no drama coming up yet.  But during the early news of their engagement, it was mentioned that Hye Kyo will retire from work.  Whatever be their plans, the millions of fans will support them!

I really wish them forever happiness, gazillion of love, and true commitment for each other.

Fan Girling | Uncontrollably Fond

Uncontrollably Fond (Hangul: 함부로 애틋하게; RR: Hamburo Aeteuthage) is a South Korean television series starring Kim Woo-bin and Bae Suzy.  It aired every Wednesdays and Thursdays on KBS2 at 21:55 from July 6 to September 8, 2016.

Uncontrollably Fond was one of my happy pills this past long weekend.  It is a story about two young people who got separated in high school because of circumstances, but managed to bump into each other years later, at a time when the guy Shin Joon Young, played by Kim Woo Bin, discovered that he got only 3 months to live and decided mission to find the woman he cannot forget.  On the the other hand, the lady, portrayed by Suzy Bae was not willing to be reconnected with him.

This is my first drama starring Kim Woo Bin and Suzy.  I was so curious of Kim Woo Bin the past weeks because that he was diagnosed with nasopharangeal cancer.

Some of my unforgetable points and comments of this drama:

—- Joon Young died, while sleeping on the shoulder of Noh Eul. – his death was not so overly dramatic.  Although moments before he died were worth noting:  His mom’s visit,  he send off his mom at the bus stop, they took selfie together

—–Kim Woo Bin was great in this drama.  I can see he was so passionate in his act especially in the last 2 episodes — the tear-jerker episodes. You did well, Woo Bin in spite the low rating from your country

—–Suzy did well but not so well. I rate her acting 5/10 although I think if the director gave the lead male and female more happy moments or episodes (less dramatic shoutings and ungirly-like tantrums) then maybe I would also fell in love with her in this drama.

—–The change (from negative to admiration) of attitude from Ji Tae toward Joon Young was impressive.  He portrayed well as a second lead male.

—–Shooting locations.  I will travel to South Korea in the future and might visit that Island where Shin Joon Young wanted hid from Noh Eul. But his original plan was to bring the girl that he loved in this place, but because Noh Eul like someone else, Joon Young then just went there alone.

If you like melodramatic, romantic series, then Uncontrollably Fond is for you.  Watch it with tissue box with you, especially the last 2 episodes.

The drama was shoot from November 2015 to April 2016, so here are seasonal moments that became my favorite.

Fan Girling | Strong Woman: Do Bong-soon

(Hangul: 힘쎈여자 도봉순; RR: Himssenyeoja Do Bong-soon) is a 2017 South Korean television series starring Park Bo-young in the title role as a woman with superhuman strength, with Park Hyung-sik.  This was aired in JTBC from February 24, 2017 until April 15, 2017.

This drama was not in mind until I saw a CD copy of the whole drama, while walking around the city, the week before last week.  I started watching it middle of this week and done with it after several hours at night for 4 days.

The story is a strange mix of romance, comedy, supernatural, police investigation, and even bloody (scaryyyy)thriller.  I am not a fan of any of the leads but it is nice to discover them.  With the purpose of having a film to watch, I can say I was entertained 7/10.   I think this still makes me a Korean drama fan girl!

Dear Bong Soon,

Thank you for using your special talent for the good.
Thank you also for learning to love Ahn Min Yuk. You are so cute together. It makes me giggle even if In Guk Doo’s face turns sour in jealousy. ha ha ha. Bad me. But yea, I thought you will not be able to like Min Yuk because Guk Do is your childhood crush.

Dear Min Yuk,

I know you are not a high and mighty type of guy. I know that in spite your being a CEO of your company, you can be down to earth but yet frank.  I find humor in your witty lines.  I understand in the whole course of the series that you too have a painful past, but it inspired you to be good at where you are.  I was also surprised that eventually you fell in love with Bong Soon.  Now that you are in love and happy and married, you will forget those who hate you and spite you, especially your selfish brother.  May you be an inspiration to your brothers and family. Continue to be good in your business and with your peers and most especially your cute little love. strong woman, Bong Soon.
