5S Soon

By , February 3, 2011 10:50 pm

In two weeks time will be the ACSCU team visit. An accreditation for Level II for the School of Nursing. That is the reason why i’ve been busy in the office for the past weeks. I still haven’t finished doing my assigned tasks but am doing them as time allows it. Though i want to do it fast, the other departments can’t give me the documents that i ask from them. So it takes time.

Me and other workers are planning of cleaning up the office and do the 5S next week so that we will know which and what kind of office decor should i buy to make the office looks prettier. I already have an idea which place to go to buy some decors for corners and the wall.

Off to Church Now

By , January 8, 2011 9:13 am

In awhile am off to church.  My dress is looking up at me seems to say, come on Arlene, get up and put me on and let’s go to church.  Anyway, it’s a good morning!  I slept a lil bit late (1 am) because connection to supersurf was not working so I decided to sleep.  Woke up with a start because i thought I left something at the hospital last night (some blankets) and when i called home, it was there.

I will get back later to update more blogs with interesting posts and tasks but as of now I need to browse through the prom dresses private album of my friend, Liberty in Thailand. She will be sending a 50 kilos parcel today to Marbel, Cotabato in response to huge orders of prom dresses.  I want to see what styles and colors Marbel ordered.  She does it right and quick because in Bangkok, you can find the biggest ever fashion mall in the whole world! I wanna get back there in the future and hopefully this time I have much much money to spend.

Prom programs makes me sighing thinking back my high school days!

Ciao for now.

Pending Requests

By , June 11, 2010 1:39 pm

There are several pending requests here in my table.  Pending because it has not reached the right person to sign yet.  Possibly by Tuesday.  Not MOnday because we are going to have a long weekend.  One of the requests is to open an exit passage at the entrance gate and for sure with that they will install exit signs from the minimart area, fastfoods area, and the hospital area so that everyone will know that they can exit at the main entrance of the college.

Signage are very important as they are visible guides for everyone.  That even without asking anyone, it can lead you to your destination.

Limonda, Opol, Misamis Oriental

I had the chance to make a quick travel to my mom’s hometown for some important transaction. It was a supposedly postponed trip to be done this week but we were informed that meeting between land owners, tribal officers as well as barangay council and the investors will have a meeting 11 am. So my aunt and I left home around 8 am last Thursday.

On our way up, as usual we rode the motorcycle. I took it much better compared to the first time. I think am getting used to it. It’s my third time trip up the mountains since April this year. The driver was not someone my aunt knows but he was recommended by a relative that he can drive well up and down very bad roads, worst roads compared to the road to our destination. So, it was only my aunt and I and no big loads compared to the 2nd time i went there when my butt has something to sit on which was really bothersome and painful after getting the motor.

It was a good trip up. He was a good driver too, i think. But he has more swerving styles which made me scared at times.

I call this place red lands but its name is actually Digkilaan. I dunno what’s the english meaning of that word but that’s the name of the place in the Higanunon tribe. Minutes before this location is a very bad part of the travel but around 10 minutes more travel from this area is our destination.

When we arrived at the place, there was a lady selling puto. It was 5 pesos per piece so my aunt and i had a piece and we also coached the driver to pick one.

See the puto, it looks yummy and that dog is the woman’s buddy. Such a very friendly guy but when i took this photo i was busy eating my share so i never tried to photo him facing me. the woman was excited when i tried to photo her dog.

One of the subjects i aimed to take photos at that time were kids. I said to myself that any kid that will come near me, i will take photos of them. And of all the few shots i made this is my favorite one. Their smiles are just so sweet. –

I was able to take photos of some flowers and also the horse i saw last time. I met him again and am saving the photo for sunday critters. And of course endless photos of the skies for sky watch friday and maybe some wordless wednesday entries. But let me share here a 2 more pieces. One is of the stream we trekked so that the investors can check the area then one of the sky pics.

In this photo, it seems like my aunt is so near me. Or it seems she is in level with me. Well, yeah we are in a way but to get to her location, i have to step 2 meters down (trackless bt just slide down the mud) and then go up around 4 meters so that i can reach her spot. I did reached her but the moment i arrived, they then start to go downstream. I ventured down because they said we will trek up or trek down the stream but they changed their minds so we have to go back the trail we made in coming over to this location. I was the first out to the road and guess what i saw gawking at me — a horse! I will show her on Sunday.

To go down the road to our piece of the land area, the beautiful sky is always an inspiration. To the left is a big bamboo tree and right beside that spot is where my grandpa is resting. :)

ON our way back later in the afternoon (early evening), we did not rode the motor down to the town but we hitched a ride in the businessman’s Hilux. I rode at the back for photo purposes though the sky was darkening. But later i have to get in because it rained.

Oh well, this is all for now and I think i will be visiting up there more often soon.

Ideal Investment

By , July 31, 2008 1:03 pm
One of the best investments to do while you are still alive and active working is to invest in properties. I really admire those young people at 35 who has already accumulated more than millions of properties. Real Estate just like Nicaragua real estate. I know not all of us are destined to be on luck right away, but with hard work and determination, one can realize his or her dream of having a comfortable twilight years when time comes.

Nicaragua is a coastal country so you can imagine that Nicaragua property deals with properties that makes you feel like you are in a paradise here on earth. Nicaragua real estate offers many beach front properties at very affordable prices.

Properties along the shorelines or the beachfront properties are best buys nowadays. And one of my friends is investing on it now. He likes the one that’s like Nicaragua beach property. There are similar properties here around, so maybe he will pick one like that as he said it’s not only for him but also for his future family’s family.
So thinking of grand investments? Check out Nicaragua Real Estate. YOu can either call the USA office or the one direct in Nicaragua.

Winter Vacation

By , July 25, 2008 2:21 pm
Summer is just here but have you thought about where would you like to be for the Christmas vacation? Maybe for some, they are off the the skiing slopes and those who does not have plans yet, maybe if they check out Whistler Accommodation, they would ops to go skiing too. Though it’s just summer, it’s now a high time to make your reservations as the places are starting to get packed for winter vacationers.

One of my friends can really recommend whistler to everyone as she has been there three times already and she said “still counting!” and so it means she’s off there again this coming December. You may wonder where do they stay or what type of accommodations they can give to their customers. Well, they have Whistler loding type and even the Whistler condo rental accommodation.

Here’s a sample type of townhome accommodation at Cedar Ridge 17 which many are after. Don’t you think it’s a very cozy place to stay with your loved one or even the whole family. Others said that Cedar Ridge 17 is an ideal place to stay because it’s jst few seconds walk to the slopes from your front door. It saves you from the long walks if you will be accommodated in other areas. This place has a total of 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and can accommodate 10 people for a comfortable sleeping. They have a garage for your private vehicles but not much space for your visitor’s cars.

So check out their site and start calling them for your reservation. Don’t wait for the last minute or else you will never get a slot at this very nice town home. But anyways, Cedar Ridge is not the only accommodation out there – they have cozy log houses and apartments, too. So see ya at Whistler!

Real Estate Enterpreneurship

By , June 22, 2008 2:28 pm

I wish i have the talent to be in that field, but no, am too shy for that. But my cousin, wow, she is doing great on that and she often teases how much she could earn in real estate. Well I guess talents vary from one person to another person. So like my cousin, I met another blogger online who blogs about real estate business and states relocation in the country of US of A. If you are around American states, then Property Town features US Relocation Informations of the states. They will assist you in property procurement, rentals, and other real estate stuff.

I know that to move or to buy your own house is not an easy decision. Sometimes you have questions that only realtors can answer. So before you come to the point of deciding, try to read this Property Town Info and am sure you can find some answers to your questions. Or you can try to contact them at your respective states here.

Work in UK

By , May 12, 2008 1:32 am
Have you experienced working abroad? I did. And it was nice not really all nice it is a mixture of nice, sad, happy, challenging and everything in between. One thing I really like it there was that it pays more than what am pain here in my homecountry. But anways, here is a chance for you to work in UK or anywhere in UK. UK is not just a destination for our Filipino nurses but they also give chance to skilled workers for Office Jobs, PA Jobs, and Receptionist Jobs. Honestly this is very tempting for me because I know with my skills I can try applying but I don’t like to have my hopes down anytime so I am not applying but am encouraging my friends who just graduated or for those who are waiting to have chances to work abroad doing PA Jobs or PA Secretary.

Receptionist Jobs sounds light but I know the work is not just merely greeting customers or visitors and pcking up the phone – but it is almost the same as an office secretary. These jobs are really good for those who have graduated with a degree in Office Management especially those who have passed the walk-in stenographers examination.

Tate UK is an agency that provides applicants the full portfolio of recruitment steps that covers contact and permanent staff. They specialise in the recruitment and placesment of the best Administrators, Customer Service and Data Entry Staff. Read that? It’s really a white collar job. So don’t delay – check the sites now and begin applying.
