DSC_0877

I was back at House of Fries! That was my third time. First was during their opening, second with my kids, and this time, it is with the #EatIligan group.

Fries! The name says it all but mind you, they do not only serve fries of different flavors.  They too have money-value meals that can be enjoyed by anyone in any occasion.

My pictures cannot give justice to the yummy look of these foods.  Sorry. I was late and hapo with the heat of the day. But thanks to their coolers, it relaxed me a bit. So, you should go and check out their foods.

House of Fries is almost one year old.  You may check out their Facebook Fan Page for their anniversary pakulo mechanics. Who knows you will win the lucky person who will win the prize!

This food house is located at: De Leon Corner Ramiro St., Iligan City.

Since the event is scheduled during the events I am sure I cannot complete the try outs from partners this year. But even then I look forward to joining this event because it’s a time for IBS family bonding as well as meeting new friends.

Forever 72!

Happy Birthday, Mother!

img069

Never a day passed that we don’t think of you. I felt thankful that you left without experiencing so much pain, but yet at times the void that you left in my heart is painful. I never mind shedding a tear when my heart pained because I guess as long as we are still in this world, it is normal. So I look forward to the day when we all shall meet and be together again, when the tears shed will be tears of joy.

We always remember that July 20 is your birthday. Today would have been your 76th birthday. Hmmm you are still 76 wherever you are, Ma but we here always realize that you are forever 72. It’s not bad. God has blessed you in many ways in spite how our like is hard at times.

You are are always fondly remembered, Ma.

I love you!

Underground Arts

I chance upon these underground arts while going home from the Korean Embassy last May. I was so amazed because it is my first time to see art wall along the streets of Manila. I know that there are some walls displaying colorful arts but never been to one yet.

The first time I passed by, I took a photo of three of the arts. I was in a hurry eh. So I thought I’ll do the complete set the next time I passed by. I was still familiarizing the way, and it was already getting late plus I was in a hurry.

Two days later, I came by the same way again. It’s quite a long walk from Telus building, but it’s the cheapest route for me. During the second time, I really took the time to take pics of all the painted wall.

I did not mind the stares of some passers by. I think they too admired the art, but felt shy to take pictures.

If you wanna know where these nice wall art done, it’s in Makati. It’s one of the underground passage going to the bus stop near the Stock Exchange Plaza.

The colorful art can perk up a tired and weary face. But for most of the busy people, they fail to take a pause and appreciate the beauty they are passing by.

If you can see one next time, try to pause awhile and look up and enjoy the art.
