A Promised Vacation

My daughter graduated from elementary last month and the thought of enrolling her in high school gave me so much stress.  The school we both liked studying at is very expensive.  Way way beyond what i can afford.  There is another school which she also like but I am a bit skeptic about it because there might be Sabbath problems in the future.  So there is another whose tuition costs just enough.  I’ll just try to find a sponsor for her books which will work almost four thousand pesos.   She was the one who is not so excited about it.  But when she saw her friends and classmates who are doing good in their classes, she just said “ok” to me yesterday.  She passed the entrance examination and hopefully she can enroll next month.

Our deal was if she enrolls at this certain school then at least once a year we can take a vacation together to somewhere.  If the Branson vacation packages are affordable then maybe we can take one from them. There are also very affordable vacation packages locally but we will see when the time comes. Our first plan is this coming December.

Summer Classes is Now Officially On!

The hallways and offices are now bustling with students and workers. I like the atmosphere. It’s alive. Unlike during vacations, the place is so quiet that at times it’s deafeaning. Our dormitory have lesser occupants. Only 48 this summer. So i hope there will be lesser problems.

The students left now are more serious compared to the normal terms. All of them are studying every night. They said they have very challenging subjects – Physics, Anatomy, and Chemistry except for those who are on the level 3 and 4 already. They have homework every night like doing research or reports. I dunno if they have already researched on CLA because CLA can help build muscle, fight cancer, burn fat, increase calorie burning, and acts as an antioxidant. I come up across this topic when i was taking Human Anatomy and it was also mentioned in my Micro Para class.

Job Fair

During the graduation day, i saw several guys at the gym distributing fliers to the graduates and their parents.  I think someone handed me one too but i told him i don’t need it.  Later, when the program was going on, i took the time to read the one that my friend received and it was an info for a job fair.  Our graduates looked forward to attend the first job fair they will encounter after they are officially pronounced as graduates of their respective courses.  But for those who decided to study online they took the chance to browse for Business job search and it was very informative. Some sites give telephone numbers for the job seeker to call on in case they have more inquiries.

I heard earlier that there is a job vacancy in a hospital in Davao.  I am interested but not very because i want another friend to apply.  Who knows she get one of those job slots.

I know it takes some time to adjust in a new environment especially in a new workplace.  But there are also times that you don’t have any other options but to really adjust just so we got pay to look forward every month.

Excellent Service

I really hate spam mails because it takes time to delete them all. But sometimes, too spam mails gave me idea on what to rant about. hehehe so, at times i don’t hate some spam mails.

Every customer want excellent service. But i just hope that those who are expecting excellent service, they too, can give excellent service to their customers. I remember an old woman who went scouting for furnace filters and and fire furnace. She felt that she was not entertained very much because she is old. So she decided not purchase the furnace filters from the certain store. Someone helped her browse online. A week later, a very new furnace filter has been installed.

Smile!

It’s going to be a morning full of work (before the power will be interrupted again) s0, am just dropping all of you a good morning and have a nice day smile!

Smile smile smile. Be right back later.

A Day at Naomi’s Botanical Garden

Our Weekend Memoirs

As i mentioned last week, i had a quiet weekend and same this week, too. Since i have time to post so I am making this post my entry to OWM. I would like to share with you a few photos i took while visiting Naomi’s Botanical Garden in Ozamis City.

It was sort of an official trip so i really did not work full-time on taking pictures but i can say that the place is so great for a weekend getaway. We were there for the last night of the wake of Pastor LT Nermal and to attend his burial the next day.

I saw this while checking what’s outside our hotel room, while waiting for my companion retouching. We had almost an hour to freshen up but instead of taking a short sleep, i watched TV. imagine! I feel like am still 16 years old. lol! I should have rested. Anyways, i got interested by a pink patch of the ground. I thought to myself – pink snow? Well, it’s a pollen from this tree:
