This is the sky while we attended a birthday party last Sunday. As i looked up to take a shot, this is what i saw. Check out the next photo.
What can you see?
An entry for:
The other night, i had the chance to go out with friends to have a pizza. When we went home, we dropped by a shop to buy some chips and when we reached the counter to pay, our eyes grew big in wonder when we saw a case full of condom with the caption – PLAY SAFE! We don’t have those kinds of things right here in our environment so we were curious. I even took pictures of it and made one of the student a model by holding two kinds of condoms. I almost asked if they are also selling testosterone cream , they said they have but they are out of stock. After paying, the girls just left laughing but they forgot what they bought behind. lol! It’s like we were having fun finding a lot of condoms for sale in a store. One of the condoms costs more than 300 hundred pesos (around 8 US dollars).
A Thursday meme of roads & its signs, signages, paths, passages, street scenes & the like. Hosted by Tink.
i went out last night with some friends for a pizza treat. it was my first time around the place so i was able to take this few night scenes of signages. in spite the wet road coz it rained, we enjoyed the time out.
Thank God it rained today so our blackout this evening for 3 hours will be bearable. Power interruption schedule will be in 15 minutes so it’s like am making this post in a hurry. IN a hurry but with too much thankfulness in my heart. Thankful for the pizza treat, than thankful too for the rain and thankful too for the patio furniture that was approved by the council. The furniture was so timely because it can help ease the heat during warm nights. As long as summer will not be over, then daily we would have warm hours. Not just warm but very warm hours.
As i’ve mention in my previous post, me and my friends went to Calda and the place got many patio furnitures.
Always i know but not as evident today. Currently, the PHilippines is experiencing El Nino and we have high temperatures even before the summer time was officially announced. The riverbeds almost runs dry and even the water supply for the electric power was affected. Almost all over in Mindanao experience daily power interruptions from the minimum of 3 hours to up. So this morning, as what they told me, they have prayed for rain.
And guess what?! Early this afternoon the rain fell! It was real rain. Nobody was prepared for the rain so many got wet. It was still raining when the office hours finished.
It rained for several hours and when i went out to the hospital lobby to wait for some friends, this is how the sky looks.
The thick fluffy clouds were really dark that i thought it would rain more. Good thing the rain totally stopped when we left the hospital compound for Calda.
Pizza pics will be in the next post.
The other day i messaged my highschool batch that one of our classmates will be coming home first week of April and he will be in town for a couple days. I asked them if they are willing for a meet-up! We haven’t seen this guy since we graduated from high school in March 1990 so this is a home coming that we all look forward to although not all can come.
This reminds me of the get together we had last December when some classmates came home from Australia and New Zealand. We had so much fun. The ones from Land Down Under gave us key chains marked Australia and we are all happy to have it. This is what came to mind when i saw these promo keychains. Promo means lesser price and you can buy lots of them. For sure this will save one a lot of money. This is what i suggested to those who are going to Thailand on the 29th that if they are planning to buy some pasalubong stuff, they should check out on promo stuffs.
Many are going on a trip at the end of this month and i guess am just the only one who will be left here in the office.
The other weekend was the culmination of our week of spiritual emphasis. As always, we celebrate the ending and entertain the guest speaker during potluck. The gathering was attended by the members of the administrative council from both the hospital and college. The Advetist Health Professionals also attended the Sabbath services here because they had a meeting at 2 pm.
I will be sharing to you some of the foods we served that morning. Again, i missed the Sabbath service.

Actually these are just some of the main dish. Let me share also some of the sweets we served that day.

With this is also the ice cream. i ate so much ice cream for straight two days that is why when Monday came i had sore throat. Tonsils lil bit inflamed.
So our supplies at work are running low now. At the end of this month, i plan to check out the office supplies i need to replenish and order them. I need to make the requisition earlier as all signatories will be out of town by March 29 – right after the graduation. And i will be the only one left in the office. Can you imagine that? I bet the place will sound so eerie. hehehee I thought of going along the local tour (they are going to Baguio, the Corrigedor in coming back, some places in tagaytay and then they will fly to Bohol. I really dunno how much will be the total expenses. I want to go and am sure i can go but i like an activity where i can tag Dimple along as a treat or a graduation gift.
But incase we can’t make any trip this summer – then hopefully this year we will able to have one. I need to renew her passport next month.
