Feb 3

Last January 14, i blogged that i dropped 3 cards at the post office and they were traveling to China, Germany, and Australia.

Well, on January 29, i received an email that informed me that the card i mailed for Daniele in Australia arrived in 15 days after traveling 5,018 km!  She sent me this note:

“Hi Arlene
Thanks so much for the postcard! It’s the second one I’ve received so far! The postcard is really different and tells me a little bit about your culture which is always nice. Happy postcrossing!
Danielle”

On February 1, i am informed again that the card i mailed for a girl in Beijing, China arrived its destination in 18 days after traveling 3,606 km!

I know that i should have made this post days back but i was busy browsing for some documents in our library here and also searching for contemporary sofas to be used in the new office space up in the 5th floor. So i was busy. But now am really taking time to make this post so that it won’t be too stale.

The next day, am informed that the card for Germany has arrived after 19 days after traveling 11,097 km!  The note she included said “thank you very much or the beautiful card.”

Now that the cards are received, I am hoping to receive my cards soon from random senders.
