Very Useful Wedding Gift

When my friend got married the other year, i cannot forget the gift we gave her.  I tried my best to gather enough amount to be able to buy a gift that they can use in their new home.  Guess what we gave him and his bride? A tv stand ! It was for the bedroom entertainment stand although it can also be used in the living room. We wrapped the key with the delivery fee in a very big bag and gave it during the wedding reception. We did it that way because the tv stand can’t be wrapped although we placed a big bough on top of the stand. We can imagine their giggle as they saw that’s inside the big bag!

A TV stand is really a very useful gift for a wedding!

Places of 2009

I have dreamed of visiting places the past year. I even thought i could make it to China this year but did not make it. I also thought of visiting Manila and Cebu, but never made it in spite of the plans. Even then, i’ve been to some places for another visit and some are first-time visis which help made the 2009 more colourful.

The travels or outings I made the past year were to the following places:

- Cagayan de Oro City’s Mapawa Mountain Resort (1st time)
- Dapitan’s Gloria Fantasy Land (1st time)
- River Rafting area, Cagayan de Oro City (1st time)
- Agus 4 complex, Balo-i, Lanao del Norte
- 2nd Mindanao Bloggers Summit at Cagayan de Oro City
- Mountain View College, Valencia, Bukidnon
- Initao Midway Resort (several times)

Toy Hopping

I just came in from the city and check out a gift item for a highschool kid.  I am on an errand for a very busy aunt of a third year highschool boy.  The boy is doing great in school in spite of slight addiction to computer games.  So her aunt feels obliged to give her a belated Christmas gift and birthday gift in a form of  ps3 . Am not very much exposed to that kind of game because i haven’t tried playing one. She showed me a sample so that i have an idea on what to look for.  My friend is excited to give her nephew a new one because the one he is using now is a hand-me-down from an uncle who came for a visit last year.
