Back from a Weekend Trip

Just a short note to say am back from the trip to Mountain View College.  The trip was for my daughter as she was there for the whole week yet it also refreshes me of my college days memories.  It’s a weekend trip.  We left Iligan Friday morning and arrived just awhile ago.  So i missed the time checking out these promotional products for the Christmas holidays. I thought that mommy duty must come first before anything else.

There were only 22 schools that attended so the campsite was not filled with people.  There was not even a trace of campers or visitors in some common spots.    Mountain View College is situated in up the hills of Nebo in Valencia City, Bukidnon.  It’s around 30-40 minutes travel up the rough roads towards the top hills.

My last visit there was two years ago so am happy to be able to visit this weekend.  Luckily, i met one of my dormitory roommates.  She married her college sweetheart so we really had fun recalling our many college happenings.  We also met one of our highschool schoolmate and oh my we laugh just like there was no tomorrow.  Schooling years were so much fun in spite of the challenge of studying hard.

This is my first time to visit MVC as a parent and doing duty as a parent. It was a nice feeling yet it’s reminding me and my friends that we are not getting younger anymore.

I like no smoking signs but hate to see people smoking near NO SMOKING signs.

The Can’t Sleep Meme

Today we ripped this meme off a blogger named Catherine Donovan at the blog Marvel Not a Girl. She does not states where she found it. She grabbed it because she couldn’t sleep. Sunday Stealing: The Can’t Sleep Meme

Would it be hard to kiss the last person you kissed?  Nope because she’s my daughter. hehehe

When is it hard to kiss someone?  When you don’t like the person.  It’s like the Judas kiss.

You’re trapped in a room with your most recent ex for three days, what do you do?  Nothing except talking.  Catching up with what’s life since the time we separate ways.

Does it matter to you if your significant other smokes?  It matters.  He can’t smoke in front of me or else i will get dizzy.

Have you ever regretted letting someone go?  Hmmmm…i guess so. hahaha

Where would you go if you were butt naked and locked out of your house?  Whuuaatt??? I pray this won’t happen or else maybe i will just cover my face. hahahaa

Do you want to please everyone?  Nope.  if you don’t like me. Fine. If you do then thanks.

Have you ever been called heartless?  When i was in college.

Someone calls you at 3:00 AM, who do you expect it to be?  Someone from Kuwait. It’s still 10 pm over there.

Does it matter if your significant other drinks?  Occasional drink fine.  But if its addiction then of course i won’t like it.

Could you go the rest of your life without doing drugs?  Of course.  Am 37 now and i’ve never tasted except hospital meds.

Which is better, amazing eyes or an amazing smile?  eyes if it i can’t pick both.

Do you want to get married and have children one day?  Nope because i’ve already been married once and i now have 2 children.

Are you easy to get along with?  I think so.

Do you ever want to go to sleep and not wake up?  Yeah when am very tired and sleeping in one of the most soft and comfortable beds in one of the hotels in miami.

Are you shorter than your Mom?  I think we are on the same

Describe your life currently in one word:  Interesting!

Are you on medication for anything?  Nope

Who would you allow to read your thoughts for one day? My daughter

Are there things in your life that you will never be able to get over?  I think so.

If you woke up naked next to the last person you kissed, what would your reaction be?  Would be surprise and for sure ill be full of tease by my daughter.

It was a fine day when we visited Maria Cristina Falls last Sunday, November 29.

They now made this landmark more accessible to the public by creating a Nature Park from the entrance to the viewing deck.  Maybe more photos and other details in another post.

- i forgot if we stopped to take pictures at this area but am glad to make this shot!  I guess this is a guesthouse open to the public. I wonder how much per day is their room.   They always have a spring weather in this area.  Daily weather of 12 or less every day and for sure in the evening it would be really really low.   That explains the green cloth or material in the upper p I think I would love to stay there. :)
