Bangkok Tour Preparation

By , September 24, 2009 9:29 am

It’s now barely 3 weeks to go and my friends are off to Bangkok for a three days tour.  I felt sad when i knew that i cannot go but after sometime i get over it thinking that maybe something better comes in the coming days.  One thing i always advice my friends is to get their camera ready and shoot spots and moments as much as they can.  So some of their are already planning to purchase an sd card of bigger capacity.  I am sure when they get back i got lots of photos to see.

Their up coming trip reminds me of a flight from Manila to Hongkong where i won something during their mini-game on flight.  First they asked for a boarding pass.  Then they asked for a camera.  Both are within reach so i won two mugs that time.  :)

My point is that if possible, if you have a point and shoot camera, make it very accessible to you all the time, anytime anywhere. :)

Things I Should Plan For

By , September 23, 2009 8:36 pm
1.  See a lawyer for an annulment advice
2.  Buying a house
3.  A trip to Manila to see my son
4.  A trip back to China
5.  Dimple’s  college education
…more later.

Shopping for Creams

By , September 23, 2009 8:05 pm

When the mom of  my neighbor was younger, she did not pay too much attention to her skin.   Before they moved to the current location, they lived close to the beach and  she would stay there until the sun goes down. Now at retirement, she aged quite a bit. She has wrinkles by her eyes and her forehead. I have been checking out night creams and also eye wrinkle creams to make her look beautiful for their upcoming golden wedding anniversary next year.   Since her mother is allergic to some creams, so she has to be very careful on the cream that she  will order.

This is a meme (i dunno how new) i bumped in one of the blogs i visited early this week.  Then i promised myself that i wanna join.  I love verses meme or anything spiritual or anything that pertains to God.

I remember months ago i wanted to start a religious but i don’t have time anymore to update another blog so that was forgotten.  The blog still exist but there’s only 2 or 3 posts in there.

So for this meme, i thought of posting my entries in this blog.

This meme is passionately started by Amy Deanne of 160 Acrewoods.  Thank you Amy for starting this wonderful meme.  But i think each week, the Mr. Linky is alternately hosted by the admin and maybe associate admin.

A WAHM

By , September 21, 2009 10:07 am

WAHM means work at home mom.  I sometimes wish that i work that way. When my aunt passed the CPA licensure, she wanted to do some part time auditing.   She has a lot of small scale business clients which she has helped with their bookkeeping needs. She converted an empty room in her house as her office to save for office rental expense.   She found this office furniture store that could provide all needs.  Now she works comfortably from home.  Although she is strict on the time she starts and ends her work, but she is saved from the hassle of too much traffic and the bad weather.    She loves her work at home situation because she can spend time with her kids during her break time.   If typical office setting got a tea break she have it, too! :)

One Long Meme {Part II}

By , September 20, 2009 11:18 am

Today we ripped this meme off a blogger called Yellow Jacket from Foma. He explains that “I found this clunker on Impetua’s blog.”. But, it was probably stolen at that blog as well. So, of course, that will be as far as we go. Tracing back our theft’s thieves might take some time. Link back to us at Sunday Stealing!

Low Cost Health Care Insurance

By , September 20, 2009 11:02 am

When my cousin’s family immigrated to the US, she was so concerned about her young growing family. The company that sponsored for her family provided only partial health coverage. When you are transplanted to a different country, there is so much adjustment and expenses. She was looking for the best low cost health insurance that she could afford. Why low cost? Because she is also expecting her third child.

Low cost is a practical decision especially that they just started to get settled in a country where they are just on their own.  Living with the big family is a different feeling so i feel sad when she talks online and i can hear her sobbing with sadness and homesickness.

This is for her today to perk up her mood:

She is missing this food so much now and i told her that i will eat her share for her.  The moment she saw this she cried at the same time laugh.  She wished she learned how to make this when she was still here in the Philippines.  I told her to stop crying and be happy.  Browse online for the a cheap health insurance so that her worries will be over. :)
