IFL Seminar

By , September 18, 2009 11:58 am

IFL stands for Integration of Faith and Learning.  The seminar conducted in the campus weeks ago was the second time that i have attended.  But comparing it to the first, this second time, conducted by Dr. Jimmy Adil, was one that is very easy to understand.   The workshop was one that everyone participated.

Aside from Pastor Adil, there were also additional topics in relation to IFL and they were  given by Pastor Algier Ravelo and Ms. Pamela Eusebio.

Here are some of the photos that day:

The IFL seminar was just one of the seminars that is sponsored by the Administration so that the faculty and staff will be often reminded our role in this Ministry.

Thank you Pastor Jim for sharing your time with us. :)

They Will Move Soon

By , September 18, 2009 10:51 am

My cousin will be moving soon to San Diego.  Some friends are moving too to another state.  Call for work.  For me, i have no thought of moving to another house because i still like my current place.   Months back, a friend who owned 3 properties went to look for homes for rent so that they can rent instead of paying up mortgage. He said it is one way to cope up with the financial crisis. :)

I wish that somehow soon i can rent to own my place.  Some more waiting time then maybe one day i can assume a residence building to be mine forever. :)

Wish me luck guys!

What the House Test Says About You

You consider yourself important, but no more important than anyone else. You love attention, but you don’t feel like you deserve more of it than anyone else.

You aren’t against being community oriented, but it’s not really your thing. You tend to prefer to focus on your family and not the neighborhood around you.

You are a playful, charming, and seductive person. People feel instantly close to you.

You look good in a low maintenance sort of way. You do the minimum required to be attractive.

You are moved by the most simple of things. You can find pleasure from a small, perfect moment.

A Road Trip Test

By , September 18, 2009 10:39 am

We will be having another set of long weekend because on Monday is a national holiday. So i thought of going out on a road trip but no one invited me.  If i have my own vehicle then for sure i will be on the go.  Where?  Maybe to Davao or maybe in Surigao because i’ve never been to Surigao yet.

Here’s my test result:

You Take the Road No One Travels

You see life as a journey to be shared with others. Kinship and sharing are very important to you.

You live life at a fairly leisurely pace. You take time to enjoy the sweeter parts of life, even when you’re busy.

You are all about risk and randomness in your life. You travel off the beaten path… in fact, you’re often the one carving the way!

You tend to be a workaholic. You overwork yourself without ever realizing it and sometimes suffer the consequences later.

In another life, you could have been a great artist. You trust your creative instincts enough to let them lead you.

Anothing Thing on My Wish List

By , September 18, 2009 9:45 am

I missed having a real privacy of an own room.  I am now living in a house where it’s not only me and my daughter.  And we have only one TV so when all of us watch the tube, there would be a conflict of interest. So a bell tv is on my wish list and i hope to have that on my own soon. We will have another long holiday and i really wish i have it now.

Before i would sulk because i don’t have my own TV, id better go and get another FBS test.  I had a bad result the other day. :)
