I’ve been to this place several times when being invited. The last time was Tuesday this week. I had a rough day that day and being invited to go out was just great. We were 3 and each of us ordered our choice. Ma’am Apple and i ordered same main dish – mongolian steak:

Small Talk Six: A DIY Brag

6 things you’ve made during your lifetime that you were proud of (can be a craft, a dish, . . . anything):

1.  Finished highschool and college by being a working student.  It was an experience that i will never forget.  Organizing my time between studies and work as i need to prioritize both or i can’t finish school.

2.  Hosted a party of 30.  With me all doing the cooking. lol!

3.  I travelled to Beijing China from Manila with only 30 dollars in my wallet though i have a money in the bank when i can reached there.  It should have been an enough fare from the airport to the train station then to my home.  But it did not went smoothly as i want it to be.  I got short.  So just imagine i was trying to approach strangers that can speak even a little english to help me get a  taxi and explain my predicament so that the taxi can bring me to the bank.  Not a nice experience but unforgetable and i don’t want it happen again.  But i made it home! :)

4.  I zip down and up a 100 meters long line at around 150 meters high. :)   It was a “conquering my fear” experience as i have a height phobia. :)

5.  I now learned how to digiscrap.  At least the basics and a little bit more than basics.

6.  Experience rafting down a river that took us 3 hours to reach the the destination. :)

Mom’s Long Time Assignment

By , June 10, 2009 5:16 pm

Up in the ancestral mountains of my maternal side, lies a land where its rich with minerals. Many said we could be millionaires (in our dreams) because to think of the so many things to be done and process some family members become weary.  Oh well, personally I am not affected though i enjoyed my mom completing the family tree with my grandma on the top list.  I enjoyed seeing so many children of my grandpa’s children that i realized that my lolo could not be rich in land natural treasures but also rich in grandchildren. hahaha!  Now i saw an information about ancestry dna and i realized that if i go into that maybe i can find out who what when where stuff before my grandfather’s time.

If you call 1-800-514-5208 you will discover and learn more things that you will be convinced to test your dna roots.   For me I am interested so i am asking my cousin to trace up our maternal side.  He is more able to do this thing now than i do.  :)

Moving On

By , June 7, 2009 5:26 pm

My professional work experiences are purely admin jobs and i think i do well at it. But am now in a situation that i need to move on and even if the job is not an admin job still i would venture into a new career.

Teaching conversational english is fun so maybe i would go into that direction at the same time learn the language so that i can grab admin job opportunities in companies where english is not the mother tongue.   So be it a secretary or a teacher – i love both! :) But in case both are not available  i will grab any job that will let me survive looking for a job that i would love doing. :)
