10 Songs I Hate:

I really don’t have ten particular titles of the songs that i don’t like because i am not familiar with those songs i heard but i really don’t like…so let me just write the type of songs i don’t like.

1. I don’t like any song that does not respect women in totality.

2. I don’t like any song that is full of profane words (one song of Eminem)

3. I don’t like songs that connotes negativism, sex, alcohol, and or bad vices.

4. I don’t like songs that sounds so desperate of selfish love.

5. I don’t like songs that blaspheme God, the Creator and Lord of Lords.

6. I don’t like songs that promotes satanic acts and or praises Satan.

7. I don’t like songs that lead a depressed person into deep depression.

8.  I don’t like songs that are incomprehendable because of too much noise of accompaniments like drums and other stuff.

9.  I don’t like songs that has too much screaming and  croaning (Maria Carey’s songs).

Successful Medical Mission

Yesteday, a group of medical team from Mindanao Sanitarium and Hospital and College went on a medical mission in Tubod, Lanao del Norte.  It was my first time and as a first timer i can say that it was fun.  Although i was assigned in a busy spot, yet it was a great experience.

The group is composed of medical doctors, dentists, nurses, nurse aids, student nurses, and support staff.  One of my purpose in going with the group was to go swimming after the work but i came home without dipping even my foot on the tempting cool waters (spring pool). But i am positive I am going back there with the REgistrar’s office staff.

Now, here are some photos.  They were taken at lunch break and later in the afternoon when the work was done:

4. Some doctors in action (Medicine) I wish i have some photos of the dental area and also at the circumcision area but i just can’t stand up from my spot when the work started because we had the longest line of people

6. I took a me photo too! They said if you are the one taking photos  you have less photos or no photo at all in an event. But i know i have a few — in other people’s cameras. hehehe. So here’s me -

Looks tired? Not really. I was all ready to go to the next destination!

By the way, Tubod Lanao del Norte, is a more than an hour trip from Iligan City going south.

We were able to serve more than a thousand patients in all areas  (dental, circumcision, consultation for adults and pedia) and i can say it was a successful medical mission.   I can also say that the support of the Municipal and also the Provincial Health Offices did a great help to the accomplishment and success of the activity yesterday.

We were treated to a very beautiful retreat place after the work was done — will post photos tomorrow. :)

Skywatch # 43

This is how the sky and the moon looked last night when i was walking home with my daughter and neice just before 9 pm. The moon was bright and sky surrounding it so dark. I already have several moon photos but nothing as clear as this. I used a “night” mode to capture this with my mobile phone.

Summer Getaways

Summer is just round the corner and everyone is having plans for a summer get away.  A week-end trip to a beautiful resort, or a weeklong trip to Disney Worlds just within Asia.  In my work place, one group planned to go to Malaysia and Genting Highlands is high on the list but unfortunately, they did not stick to that, they changed the destination to Palawan.

Well, they think that just going local would make the whole trip very affordable and very much educational when it comes to learning the beauty of our own motherland.

Now for the sake of those who want to visit New Zealand, then here are some places where you should not to visit plus the affordable places to stay while there.   When it comes to hotels, one should not forget the name. I thought of going there with girlfriends and staying in a big hotel room that can accommodate 6-8 persons in a room showed below:

It is fun to travel by group than to travel alone. :)   Am sure many would agree with me on this.
