I Love POSTCROSSING!

I love Postcrossing! Do you like to know why? I love the feeling when i received postcards in the mail, specially if they all come together. I got 4 cards from the post office yesterday. 2 from Germany (Deutchland), 1 from Norway, and 1 from Finland. I’d like you to have a glimpse of them. :)


i think this is a place of castles and this card is rom Krimhild of Bautzen, Germany.
Here’s the note:

Hello Arlene, many greetings to you from Germany. I am 40 years old and have 3 children. I like sports, reading, languages and collecting viewcards and stamps. I wish you all the best. – Krimhild.

Hello Arlene! My name is Paivi and I’m from Finland. I live in a small town called Lapua with about 14000 people. Summer is past but I can still go on the lake shore and swim, row by boat and of course take a sauna bath. Finland is a land of thousands lakes. – Paiv

Hi! Greetings from Norway. Lyngor is a group of islands, not far the island i live on. There’s no bridge from Lyngor tot he mainland, so the inhabitants and others do have to use boats to get there. Best wishes -Catherin.

All these postcards have beautiful stamps from the country they are from and I just love them so! I mailed 4 cards last Friday, so now am waiting for another 4 cards again.

Ten simple things that makes me happy (in random order):

1. A walk in the beach at sunrise or sunset.

2. Taking photos of such anything.

3. A quick trip or quick small vacations to here and there.

4. A good mood of my daughter, like we watch movies together or we do question and answer thing.

5. A simple treat from a friend.

6. A call from a long time no see or long time no hear friend.

7. Postcards! (posted ones)

8. Mails (posted)

9. A good movie.

10. A slice of chocolate cake.

Cancelled Trip

I signed up yesterday for a 1 day leave today. But the planned trip did not push through. It’s raining here, so am back at the office.

The meeting is postponed next week, so am going to do that leave next week. Day? I dunno yet.

Now am off to make my Ten on Tuesday meme. :)
