Camera Critters – August 24, 2008

A nameless guy. :-)
I really don’t think he is nameless but i just forgot to ask my cousin what’s his name and his buddy. That’s my cousin’s pet and another one not yet in picture buthopefully tobe shared in the coming Sundays. Not really pets but more on housewatchers and the funny thing is that when new people come they never growl nor bark. hahaha. Coz we have tried them. One time we passed by his home and nobody was there. We went inside the gate and the dogs just stare at us. I could almost say “useless dogs” hahaha but my cousin said, they can smell if you are dangerous then they would fight you. :)

Mountains and Valleys

From my mailbox. Thanks Chris -

“I sought the LORD, and he answered me; He delivered me from all my fears.” ~ Psalm 34:4 NIV
Every life is an unfolding series of events; some fabulous, some not so fabulous, and some downright disheartening. When you reach the mountaintops of life, praising God is easy. But, when the storm clouds form overhead, your faith will be tested, sometimes to the breaking point. As a believer, you can take comfort in this fact: Wherever you find yourself, whether at the top of the mountain or the depths of the valley, God is there, and because He cares for you, you can live courageously.

The next time you find your courage tested to the limit, remember that God is your shield and your strength; He is your protector and your deliverer. Call upon Him in you hour of need and He will protect you.

sky Watch # 18

this photo was taken yesterday uphill the area of Opol, Misamis Oriental. We were on our way to my grandparent’s place for a ritual of a relative that died and buried last week (it was her 9th day yesterday). It was my first time to observe the ritual so i took the chance to go with the group. Going up we have to ride the motorcyles that is conditioned to using rough uphill roads (looks so helly). On this part, we were asked to get off and walk that uphill climb because it was so steep. I was glad coz it gave me the chance to take this and several more photos.

Another photo taken from this area is posted HERE.
