Celebrating in London!

I wish that that I was out there celebrating Mother’s day! Yea, that is one of my wishes actually. Anyways, since it did not happen now, hopefully next year if not the next after next year. Hahahahaha. Yeah am dreaming that next year’s day for moms, I will be already married to someone special and we would spend it in one of the best London hotels and at maybe some days spent with friends.

Many told me that to travel to London needs a large sum of budget because their standard of living is very high. Well, I still have a year or two to prepare for this then am sure London can accommodate is in one of London central hotels.

There are many sights to see and visit in London so the accommodation is the number one thing to be considered before making a travel there. Though I have friends who promised few days accommodation, i have tobe sure I made my own reservation with hotel assistance and aside from giving me ideas on where are discounted London hotels, they will also assist me in making up my itenerary. :) That sounds great, right?

1. What present did you gave to your Mom last Sunday for the Mother’s Day?
None. Just my presence. It was just a normal day for us at home and later in the day, i left them for a quick trip.

2. If you’re a Mom what did you receive? If you’re a Dad what did you gave to your Wife/partner?
None materially but lots of warm text messages and online cards from friends.

3. Where did you go to celebrate the special day?
I was at home daytime. In the evening I was at Cagayan de Oro with some friends.

4. Did you had a fabulous time? Please Share.
Not really if i say that it’s for mom’s day. But for non-mom’s activity, i had a great time. Had dinner date with friends and a friend. :)

5. Share a special moment together with your Mom that you treasure most! Either you were a kid or now that you have a family already!
Some of the moments that will really stay in my mind forever were the moments when I was pregnant the first time and we were faced with so much pressures. I had to face reality with her. It was like we were there for each other. She was trying to protect me but at the same time I was also trying to protect her.

6. Do you have a tradition on Mother’s Day in your family? If yes, What?
None. But long time ago when I was still schooling, cards and gifts were always present. Now that I become adult, it was like it didn’t become a priority anymore. :(

7. What do you think you got from your Mom’s look?
Maybe my eyes and the contour of my face.

8. If you could give ANYTHING to your Mom in the world what would it be?
Time.

9. What sayings, or any quotable quotes that your Mom always instill in you and your other siblings mind while growing up?
Work and study hard to make life better.

10. What is a Mother to you?
A mother is the only person that can understand a child’s unspoken thoughts.

Adjusting to Changes

- no more late nights on line. I can sleep now at past 10 instead of past 1 am months back.

- i still miss him when I think of him. But love? I dunno anymore. He knows it.

- no more big tears only small tears left when i think of him.

- already awake usually at past 5 in the morning and have now a hard time going back to sleep after that. i get up past 6 but jst spent the time lazing in bed and thinking, wishing, wondering…

- bosses are back so am busy at times which i love. :)

- smorty still didn’t remember me. :(

For two nights now, I didn’t find myself too late online. Instead I was craving for movies that will make me smile or laugh. Last night am glad that I was able to finish a korean film entitled Secret Lovers. Moral of the story: it is really great to marry someone that you love. Marriage for convenience mostly ended up the third party affairs. The movie reminded me too that even though how much we really love a person but if their are too many negative pressures against the relationship – it makes one or both real tired.

Yesterday daughter and her cousins were out of home. Dimple went to Ozamis with an aunt to attend a burial so last night, the home was quiet. There was only me, my mom, and a nephew. The house was peaceful and I ended up staying in the sala until past 11 pm to finish up what i was watching.
