Am into A Challenge!

By , January 28, 2008 11:46 am

It’s my first day today in the gym. I stand 5’3″ and I weigh 80 kilos/ 176 pounds. :D I was having second thoughts on blogging about it (first time in a gym) because I might just back out later on, but I promised myself that I should be serious about this. I was weighing only 100-110 pounds 10 years ago. So if I can’t go back to that perfect 100 pounds, at least, God help me, to lose 30 pounds in half a year.

I wish i can post here my pre-obese picture and also my obese one. hahaha! Maybe later.

I know my the source of my weight problem. This is a real challenge for me because the root of the problem can’t really be avoided. I will just be stuck in this place for as long as I am needed so I hope this gym thing plus the thought of going back to school can promote hyper activity in me.

Someone in the blog world inspired me to earn while blogging. And now same someone inspired me to be serious on this program. Haii Jen, wish we are neighbors.

And for those friends out there who loves to gain weight/fats, wish I can share mine. hahahaha

Thanks to Zenni Optical $8 RX Eyeglasses!

I am now at the age where an eyeglasses is a must for productivity of work. I believe that even though my eyesight has not yet deteriorated in its 20/20 perfect sight, am now already in the age where my eyes needs an assistant or support especially when computer work is too much. So I found the answer at Zenni Optical. I think Zenni offers the best thing this time by offering an $8 Glasses with Case. Here’s my pick from the array of their affordable glasses:

I will pick these 2 with same grades so that I can have variations according to my work attire. Zenni Optical does offer a wide range of eyesglass categories and am sure you will find the one that fits for you. If you don’t like cheap prescription glasses, there are expensive ones too. They have simple as well as fashion styles too. But for those whose budget is so tight, Zenni Optical $8 Glasses is the answer for you.

It’s so easy to order. Just follow up the order steps and they will deliver direct to you.

"ME TIME"

By , January 27, 2008 2:32 pm
Most of the hours today (daytime) was “ME TIME.” Dimple left home around 1 pm for some school activities so after she left I turned off the computer and then arranged the mess Dimple left in the living room. Then I had uninterrupted time to sorting and fixing personal stuff inside the bedroom. I just love “ME TIME” because I do things I like doing without any interruptions. Aside from that, I love the silence. When all you can hear is jsut the crunching of papers or the sound of the move of the chairs. At times I just love the atmosphere free from children’s noises of fights and teasings and mom’s shouts to shut up. :D

I got up at 7 am today and had the chance to cooked for breakfast. I prepared sauted (no oil) sayote with egg and also the stir fried stripped carrots. Mom loved the no oil one. Hehehehe. For lunch time I prepared eggplant salad with fresh tomatoes and some onions. We also had 1 big papaya for our dessert. This evening, I feel that the boiled vegetables was too bland to look at so I treated ourselves with a can of sardines mixed with lots of calamansi juice and salt. :) Even the cats enjoyed the sardines.

Thanks Juliana for tagging me.
Rule #1

Copy all the links below and replace a single link under the appropriate alphabet. If your domain name, or even the title of your blog, starts with an ” A,” you’d replace the link under that alphabet and put the replaced link at the bottom. Also, don’t forget to credit the tagger, or where you got the list from, at the end of the list with a full URL of the post so that a pingback gets generated.

1. A. acowboyswife.com
2. B. bloggingcents.com
3. C. caffeine-overload.com
4. D. delusionsofgrandeur.com
5. E. enjoyingtheride-jenn.blogspot.com

Replaced link: michaelpark.net

Previous tagger: julianarw.blogspot.com

Rule #2

You now have to “tag” at least five people and encourage them to participate so that this thing spreads like a virus. Remember, though, that not everyone’s into these kinds of things, so don’t be upset if they don’t participate. Just simply replace your tag. Remember to tag blogs only and no pornographic ones as we do want to keep the integrity as a blogging community. TIP: Tag your frequent EntreCard droppers via its messaging system.

So am tagging the following ~~~~Becki, Jenny, Babie, Sexymom, and Shang.

Rule #3

Just like any other “meme” out there, ask a question for your taggees to answer along with your own answer to your previous question. This is optional.

The question: What’ food for lunch today?

How’s Your Typing Speed?

By , January 26, 2008 4:16 am

That’s mine. But honestly, if am still in school, am sure that won’t pass. I have to graduate in my last typing class (Typing 4) with 110 wpm i think (if i remember it right) and with that 762pm score now I can say my skill has diminished.

Well for now, you don’t need to go to school learn typing 1-4. YOu can learn it now online. But bfore you start, it is nice to know what is your speed now and from time to time learning and practice, you can see where you improved at. So try, Touch Typing online

Some Cool Websites

By , January 25, 2008 5:01 am
I have here few sites added to my blogroll and I wanna post it here hoping that maybe you too might interested. I understand that by subscribing to their feeds and frequent visiting their blogs and also leaving comments, can also generate traffic at your end. So it is like the give and take cycle effect. Right. You visit them, drop them lines, and he or she and their readers will spot your blog’s URL and then they come to visit you. Linked them up with you and at same time you will also be linked up with them.

These sites are the so called Blog Marketers and they will launch blog contests from time to time.

What are these sites then? They are:

Mixed Market Arts - owned by Collin. I still dunno a lot about him and has not joined any of his contests yet, but has read and heard about him thru blog contests I joined in the past. Maybe this time, I am gonna join his weekly contest that has began this week.

Slamblogger – owned by Ethan C. I was familiar with him through his Poetic site. Now I realized that he has this new site and this blog has simiar interests and goals with the first blog I mentioned. At slamblogger, it’s a blog where it is fun to talk smach. :)

If you are fun of joining contests, check out these sites, too:

*(10-16 points) You are Garfield: You are very comfortable, easy going, and you definitely know how to have fun but sometimes you take it to an extreme. You always know what you are doing and you are always in control of your life. Others may not see things as you do, but that doesn’t mean that you always have to do what is right. Try to remember, your happy spirit may hurt you or others.

*(29-35 points) You are Sponge Bob Square Pants: You are the classic person that everyone loves. You are the best friend that anyone could ever have and never wants to lose. You never cause harm to anyone and they would never not understand your feelings. Life is a journey, it’s funny and calm for the most part. Stay away from traitors and jealous people, and you will be stress free.

*(36-43 points) You are Charlie Brown: You are tender, you fall in love quickly but you are also very serious about all relationships. You are a family person. You call your Mom every Sunday. You have many friends and may occasionally forget a few Birthdays. Don’t let your passion confuse you with reality.

*(44-50 points) You are Dexter: You are smart and definitely a thinker… Every situation is fronted with a plan. You have a brilliant mind. You demonstrate very strong family principles. You maintain a stable routine but never ignore a bad situation when it comes.

*Try to do less over thinking every once in a while to spice things up a bit with spontaneity. Now don’t spoil it! Have some Fun!!

Now am tagging the following:

Have fun ladies. Mariuca said, this tag is too cute to be missed. :)

Thanks again Marz.
