Why Iraq or Afghanistan?

That question inspires me to make this post.

Why those places? Hmmm not just those places but a lot of other midwestern small countries. They may be small in size but they are strong or else they won’t be a center of war or being wanted as place for war. I look forward to be in places where I will be wearing the long clothes and even cover my face. Honestly, I have this soft spot in me that beats for people from these countries. When I see their war-torn faces, yet smiling for the camera, my heart goes out to them. Seeing them in tattered & bloddy stature and with an invisible wail in their faces “why us, God?” makes me realize that I am luckier than them in a way that am still in a country where freedom prevails and I can still eat, shop, go to school, go to work, and have kids play on the streets and I feel that if I am given the chance to be a volunteer for peace process and or work with the locals in trying to build up their lives again –it will surely be something that makes my life also worth the living.

But incase I will not be given this chance, still I can continue to be a peace bearer in this part of the globe – particularly within my family, my workplace, my neighborhood and the whole community.

I even dreamed that one day am going to be married to a midwesterner. hahahaha! I often joked before, I am willing to be Bin Laden’s # 100th wife. hahaha! That’s one of the weirdness in me.
